February 28, 2017
Students from 145 countries around the world attend IUPUI, adding to the university's rich and diverse campus culture. Did you mark your home country during last week's International Festival?
The Study Abroad Office was available at the festival to inform students of the study abroad opportunities available to them. Students can choose from more than 50 countries and 17 languages when exploring options to study abroad.
Jazzy stopped for a quick photo during the International Festival to show off her entry for the "Best Dressed" contest.
The lines were (understandably) long for different snacks and traditional dishes from each country.
Handmade jewelry, instruments, accessories and more were on display throughout the Campus Center. The bright colors were true crowd-pleasers!
Live performances were heard throughout the event, including this sweet duet.
Students, staff and faculty alike were able to celebrate the hundreds of countries, cultures and beliefs embodied at IUPUI -- not just during International Week, but all year long.
The International Festival took place in the IUPUI Campus Center on Feb. 22 as a part of International Week. It was an event enjoyed by all that provided a fun, informative atmosphere for Jags throughout the day.
Students from the African Student Association took to the stage for a fun performance during the festival.
The IUPUI global flag collection was proudly on display throughout International Week, which began Feb. 20 and honored the many different countries represented at the university.
