High school dream becomes reality
April 12, 2016
Nobody can dampen the spirit of IU School of Medicine student Mason Anthony "Tony" Brown about his dream to treat "and hopefully cure" brain cancer by the time he retires.
The School of Medicine has given him just such an opportunity through his work in the field of transgenetics, a field he considers "the coolest thing in the world" and that appealed to him during his high school years.
His studies in the medical school have reinforced his belief that "the brain is the most interesting organ in the body, because it defines who an individual is."
